Colonia Court Care Home in Colchester is seeking a Care Assistant for a permanent full‑time role. You will work day shifts, including alternate weekends, delivering person‑centred care, supporting residents with daily living, nutrition and wellbeing, and maintaining accurate records.

Qualifications

• Motivation and positivity to support residents.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Desirable: previous care home experience or Health & Social Care qualification.
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Support residents with personal care and companionship.
• Observe and report changes in health or behaviour.
• Assist with nutrition and hydration per care plans.
• Provide activities to promote physical and mental well‑being.
• Maintain accurate care plans and documentation.
