Job summary

Aurem Care Shared Services Limited is seeking a Care Assistant to support residents in maintaining dignity, independence and quality of life at our UK care home in Colchester. The role offers flexible bank shifts across day, evening and weekend patterns and a strong emphasis on compassionate patient care.

We provide full training, a supportive team environment and a pathway to apprenticeships. Applicants must have the right to work in the UK; prior care experience is welcome but not essential.

Responsibilities

  • Provide high-quality personal care and emotional support to residents.

  • Maintain accurate records using Nourish electronic care planning system.
  • Work collaboratively as part of a dedicated care team.
  • Demonstrate kindness, compassion and professionalism in all aspects of work.
  • Undertake additional duties to ensure smooth delivery of care services.
