Job summary

Helping Hands Maidenhead is seeking a Care Assistant to provide compassionate support in customers’ homes, helping them stay independent and feel safe.

No prior care experience is required as full training and support are provided. You’ll build trusted relationships, assist with daily tasks, manage mobility and personal care, and administer medications per care plans. A kind, reliable, people-first mindset is essential for success.

Qualifications

• A full UK driving licence and access to your own vehicle is required.
• Right to Work in the UK is required.

• Willingness to learn; no prior care experience is needed.
• Reliability, compassion and the confidence to support others with dignity.

Responsibilities

• Provide warm, meaningful companionship to customers in their own homes.
• Support with personal care, including washing, bathing, dressing and toileting.
• Assist with mobility needs, helping customers stay safe and confident.
• Oversee and administer medication in line with care plans.
• Help with household tasks such as cleaning, cooking and meal preparation.
• Run essential errands, from food shopping to collecting prescriptions.
• Offer calm, considerate support that helps customers feel truly cared for.
