Job summary

Mayflower Care Home in Gravesend, England is seeking a Care Assistant to provide person-centred care across our floors, supporting residents with daily living, mobility, nutrition and wellbeing. You will follow care plans, observe changes in condition and help create a safe, respectful environment.

Open to both experienced carers and newcomers, the role offers full training, DBS paid, uniform provided, and a contract with 23-46 hours per week.

Qualifications

• Caring, compassionate and respectful approach.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Willingness to learn and develop; NVQ Level 2 desirable or willingness to work towards.

Responsibilities

• Assist with daily living including personal care and mobility.
• Support residents with nutrition and emotional wellbeing.
• Follow care plans and recognise changes in condition.
• Work as part of a supportive team to create a warm environment.
