Job summary

Keane Premier Healthcare is seeking a compassionate Care Assistant to support people to live with dignity, choice and independence. Training is provided, and visa restrictions may limit applicants without right to work in the UK.

You will deliver person-centred care, assist with personal care, meals and mobility, and maintain care records. You’ll work with a supportive team, monitor wellbeing and follow safeguarding procedures for safe, quality care.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in care is advantageous but not essential.
• Full training will be provided.
• PVG Scheme membership or willingness to obtain is required.

Responsibilities

• Deliver safe, compassionate and person-centred care that promotes dignity, choice and independence.
• Support with personal care, including hygiene, dressing, nutrition and mobility.
• Encourage independence and participation in activities.
• Build positive relationships with service users and families.
• Monitor health and wellbeing and report concerns.
• Maintain accurate care records and documentation.
• Respond promptly to call systems.
• Work with colleagues and healthcare professionals to ensure high-quality care.
• Follow infection prevention, health and safety and safeguarding procedures.
• Contribute to a clean, safe and welcoming environment.
