Job summary

SeeMeHired is recruiting a Care Assistant for a busy care home in the United Kingdom. The role offers flexible hours and alternate weekends, with the aim of delivering high-quality, person-centred care and maintaining residents’ independence.

You will work closely with the team to follow care plans, monitor residents’ wellbeing, and support connections with family and the local community while upholding fundamental standards and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications

• Ability to build rapport with residents.
• Strong communication with care teams and families.
• Professional and compassionate approach.

Responsibilities

• Ensure residents are at the heart of care delivery, respecting wishes to boost wellbeing.
• Follow care plans and supporting information for residents.
• Inform Senior Care Assistant/Nurse of any changes in residents' needs.
• Promote and safeguard welfare of those supported.
• Contribute to efficient running of the service.
• Support residents to maintain relationships and community ties.
• Develop effective working relationships with colleagues and multidisciplinary teams.
• Be a professional role model and ambassador for the service.
• Follow policies and procedures and undertake required training.
