Handsale Ltd is recruiting experienced carers for Swn-y-Mor Care Centre in Port Talbot. Roles are full-time or part-time with rota flexibility, offering shift patterns including days and nights and enhanced rates for overtime.

Qualifications

• DBS checks satisfactory and up-to-date.
• Experience or qualification in elderly care.
• Good communication and organisational skills.
• Positive, upbeat personality and teamwork mindset.
• Ability to work on own initiative and be flexible.
• Genuine interest in caring for residents.

Responsibilities

• Ensure residents' needs are met with patience and care.
• Assist with dressing, personal hygiene and toileting as required.
• Support mobility and daily living activities around the Home.
• Contribute to care plans with residents and families; follow agreed care.
• Provide high standards of care and service at all times.
• Promote mental and physical activity; accompany residents on outings.
• Report changes to Senior Care Assistant/Manager; keep accurate notes.
• Attend staff meetings and training; respond to emergencies when needed.
