Job summary

Herts at Home is seeking a part-time Care Assistant - Extra Care to support adults in their own homes and Extra Care settings across North Hertfordshire. The role is based at Peter Sell House, Hitchin, with morning and evening shifts, including every other weekend.

Full training is provided and DBS clearance is required before starting. You will join a friendly team delivering high-quality, person-centred care, promoting independence and dignity for service users.

Qualifications

• Experience as a care worker would be an advantage but is not essential as full training is provided.
• Successful candidates will be subject to an enhanced DBS check before commencement.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality, person-centred care to older adults.
• Assist with personal care where required.
• Work a mix of morning and evening shifts, including some weekends.
• Obtain DBS clearance and complete required training.
