Job summary

Leonard Cheshire in Godalming is hiring care staff to support adults with disabilities at Hydon Hill service. We provide induction, training, and a welcoming home-like environment where people live life on their own terms.

No previous care experience needed—full training is provided and ongoing development is supported. You’ll work weekends on a rota, help with daily living tasks, and accompany people to appointments while keeping accurate records.

Qualifications

• Warm, friendly, and empathetic approach.
• Willingness to work flexibly, including weekends.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Personal care experience is helpful, but not essential.
• Applicants must have the unrestricted right to work in the UK; visa sponsorship is not available at this time.

Responsibilities

• Support with daily living tasks such as personal care, mealtimes, and medication.
• Encourage independence through a person-centred approach.
• Accompany people to appointments, events, and community activities.
• Keep clear, accurate records.
