Job summary

Bupa is seeking a Care Assistant at Eglantine Villa in Horton Kirby, UK. You will provide person-centred care, support independence, and honour residents' choices while upholding the highest standards of care and safety.

You will work as part of a team in a home offering nursing, dementia care, respite and palliative support, with a focus on daily activities, meals, and engaging residents through personalised interactions.

Qualifications

• Support residents with companionship and personal care.
• Observe and manage residents' behaviour and report changes.
• Support residents' nutrition and hydration per care plan.
• Provide physical and mental stimulation through activities.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with personal care and companionship.
• Monitor and document residents' behaviour in line with legislation.
• Assist with meals and hydration according to care plans.
• Deliver social and recreational activities, individually or in groups.
• Keep care plans updated to regulatory requirements.
• Demonstrate motivation, positivity and strong interpersonal skills.
