Job summary

City & County Healthcare Group is seeking a compassionate care assistant to support a gentleman living with locked-in syndrome and type 2 diabetes in Milton Keynes. You will provide companionship, personal care and help with daily household tasks to keep him comfortable and engaged.

Full nurse-led training and ongoing clinical support will be provided. A valid driver’s license and access to a car are essential due to the geographical location of the role and travel requirements within the area.

Qualifications

• No prior care experience required; full nurse-led training provided.
• Experience with catheter care, bowel management, or medication administration is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Provide companionship, personal care and assistance with daily household tasks to a gentleman living with locked-in syndrome and type 2 diabetes.
• Help maintain a comfortable, engaging and supportive environment for the client.
