Job summary

The Royal British Legion is seeking a Care Assistant (Days) at Dunkirk Memorial House in the Somerset countryside. The role offers 36 hours per week, Monday to Sunday, with a pay rate of £13.41 to £13.62 per hour.

You’ll deliver compassionate care and support residents with daily living, mobility, nutrition and medications as needed. NVQ Level 2 is desirable and the organisation may assist you in achieving this.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 2 qualification is desirable and can be supported to achieve.
• Right to work in the UK is required and visa sponsorship is not available.

Responsibilities

• Assist with personal care and daily routines to maintain resident comfort and dignity.
• Support residents with mobility, nutrition, and medication as required.
• Maintain accurate care records and communicate with residents, families and healthcare professionals.
