Abbeyfield Living Society in Wimbledon is seeking a Care Assistant (Days) to provide person-centred care at Lee House. The role involves helping residents with daily activities, supporting dignity, independence and choice, and working as part of a caring team.

Full training is provided; DBS checks and references are required; 36 hours per week with 08:00–20:00 shifts; hybrid weekend rota. Pay is £13.71–£14.07 per hour, with company benefits.

Qualifications

• Attitude and values matter more than prior care experience.
• Willingness to undergo Enhanced DBS check and provide references.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with personal care: washing, dressing, eating, mobility.
• Promote dignity, independence and choice for residents.
• Support residents in day-to-day activities and participate in care plans.
