Job summary

Bradley Manor Care Home, part of Healthcare Ireland Group, seeks a caring Care Assistant to provide high-quality support to residents with dignity and respect. Your role includes helping with daily living activities, offering companionship, and assisting with mobility while following individual care plans.

You will work as part of a frontline team in a 79-bed home, contributing to a supportive, values-led culture and ongoing professional development opportunities.

Qualifications

• Excellent communication skills with residents and colleagues.
• Caring, compassionate approach to daily care and wellbeing.
• Ability to maintain dignity, respect and comfort for residents.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with daily living activities such as dressing, bathing and eating.
• Provide emotional support and companionship to residents.
• Support independence and involvement in activities where possible.
• Assist with moving and handling using safe techniques.
• Monitor wellbeing and report changes to the team.
• Follow care plans tailored to individual residents.
