Qualifications

  • Good general education and willingness to achieve Care Certificate.
  • Experience of working under supervision and supporting colleagues.
  • Ability to work as part of a multi-disciplinary team providing patient-focused care.
  • Typing and data entry skills for patient records.
  • Able to perform manual handling and use lifting aids as required.
  • Demonstrates time management and self-motivation to deliver care.

Responsibilities

  • Work within a multi-professional inpatient team delivering essential care and support to patients.
  • Maintain hygiene, mobility, nutrition and hydration needs; promote rehabilitation and independence.
  • Contribute to monitoring observations, ECGs and phlebotomy where trained.
  • Follow guidelines and protocols; support carers and families as part of care.
