Job summary

Rochcare is seeking Bank Care Assistants to support residents in our care home. The role involves delivering compassionate care in line with individual plans, supporting residents’ physical, emotional and spiritual wellbeing, and collaborating with the care team.

Ideal candidates are patient, communicative and able to multi-task in a busy home. Part-time, full-time or bank hours available; £12.82 per hour with a £250 welcome bonus for new staff.

Qualifications

• Right to live and work in the UK.
• A kind, patient and compassionate nature.
• Good English, numeracy and writing skills.
• Good communications and listening skills.
• GCSE (or equivalent) A-C in English and Maths.
• A social care qualification such as Level 2/3 Diploma in Health and Social Care.

Responsibilities

• Review and follow individual care plans and provide personal care.
• Interact with friends and family and attend review meetings where appropriate.
• Show passion and work as part of a respectful team.
• Build and maintain relationships with people whose understanding is impaired and their families.
• Complete records accurately and maintain a clean and safe home environment.
• Demonstrate professional standards and a commitment to wellbeing.
