Job summary

Marton Care Homes is currently seeking a Care Assistant for our Dene Grange facility in Hexham. This is a bank role with no sponsorship available, offering flexible shifts and a compassionate team.

You will support residents with daily living activities, monitor wellbeing, and help deliver care with dignity and respect. A caring personality and values are valued highly, even without prior experience.

Qualifications

• Provide support with washing, toileting, dressing and other daily living activities.
• Assist residents' physical, emotional and spiritual needs with dignity.
• Monitor residents with limited mobility or cognitive challenges.
• Record care planning notes and daily progress as required.

Responsibilities

• Support residents with daily living activities and personal care.
• Promote comfort, dignity and respect in all interactions.
• Assist with mobility aids and monitor wellbeing.
• Respond to nurse calls and maintain accurate daily records.
• Contribute to engaging activities and social events in the home.
