Careworkers UK is seeking friendly Nurse Assistants to join a well-established care home, caring for adults over 65. You will work under the supervision of a nurse, providing care, administering medication, and keeping the team informed.

Qualifications

• Must have experience working with older people in a care environment.
• Must have NVQ/CQF 2 in Health and Social Care or equivalent.
• Must be patient and caring, committed to helping others.
• Must have good oral and written communication skills.
• Must be able to commit to early morning and weekend shifts.

Responsibilities

• Attend to residents' wishes, comfort, hygiene and personal appearance at all times.
• Prepare and monitor care plans.
• Change dressings as directed by the nurse.
• Administer medications as trained.
• Assist with bathing and toileting needs.
• Prepare food and dining areas.
• Make beds and change linen.
• Escort residents to hospital, appointments and outings as required.
