Lofthouse Group is delighted to be recruiting on behalf of a leading AJ100 architectural practice with more than three hundred staff. Our client is recognised globally for design excellence, innovation and a people first culture. They are known for looking after their staff, offering flexibility and creating a supportive place to grow and develop.


They are now seeking an experienced Company Secretary / Executive Assistant to join the business in a crucial role that blends governance expertise with executive level support.


About the role

This is an outstanding opportunity for someone who has previously acted as the registered Company Secretary for a private company on Companies House. You will:



  • Manage all statutory Company Secretary duties

  • Prepare agendas, produce accurate minutes and coordinate board and committee meetings

  • Ensure full compliance with governance and statutory requirements

  • Work closely with senior leaders, building trusted relationships across the practice

  • Act as Executive Assistant to the CEO, providing high quality organisational and administrative support

  • Contribute to shaping and improving best practice as the company continues to grow


A strong preference will be given to candidates who have experience working within an architectural practice, a design studio or a closely related creative or design driven environment.


About you

This role will suit someone who is:



  • Highly organised with excellent attention to detail

  • Experienced in statutory governance, board meeting support and company secretarial activity

  • Confident engaging with senior stakeholders and able to build positive relationships

  • An effective communicator with strong people skills

  • Familiar with or connected to the architectural or design world
