A leading care service provider in the UK is seeking a dedicated individual to manage quality care and supervise staff. This role involves conducting risk assessments, promoting business growth, and maintaining high standards of care. The ideal candidate will have experience in social care, excellent organisational and communication skills, and a full UK driving licence. Report to: Registered Locality Manager (RLM)
Direct reports: Carers /keyworkers
You will be required to have a flexible approach to your care duties. You will be required to cover periods of sickness, annual leave and training (if qualified) and to assist with covering shifts which may sometimes be outside your availability. You will be required to complete calls for new packages taken on to enable a thorough and precise Service Delivery Plan to be completed, which is person centred and outcome based. You will then complete a handover with the team to ensure the all staff involved in the care delivery are aware of the client's requirements.
Initial Service User Assessments and Risk Assessments are to be carried out in line with Company Policy. CTS will arrange a schedule of risk assessments to be carried out at least a week in advance. Either the CTS or keyworkers will be responsible for contacting the clients to arrange an appointment. The RLM will advise of any new packages taken on and Initial Assessments to be completed. To be aware of all communications regarding the clients and their care requirements.
Your carer supervisions are to be carried out in line with Company Policy. The CTS will organise these at least a week in advance. You will be responsible for obtaining carer rotas to plan in advance. The supervisions will be carried out in an efficient and cost effective way (i.e. double- ups). To work with locality/company trainer to ensure the supervision matrix is up to date at all times.
General administrative duties may be required for the smooth running of the locality office.
Your locality office will require assistance with on-call duties throughout each period. On call duties will be completed on a Rota basis as set by the locality team. Rostering CTS will ensure all client's calls are covered appropriately. The CTS will develop an effective cohesive team to deliver quality care within their allocated area.
You will be required to attend quarterly reviews in the form of supervision, an annual appraisal with your line manager.
The standard of care expected at Abicare is documented in the companies Standards, which can be found in every office. You will be expected to adhere to all of these standards whilst working for the company.
Whenever you are on duty you will be expected to promote and maintain Abicare's image. The CTS will work closely with the third sector and specialist groups within this area, to ensure that clients have access to the services required and feel included in their community. We provide daily and live-in care, integrating innovative technology to enhance service delivery. Registered with CQC and CIW, we work closely with local health authorities and NHS commissioners.
