Job summary
FitzRoy Supported Living in Thorpe St Andrews, Norwich, is seeking a dedicated Support Worker. You will provide personalised, person-centred support to enable the people we support to lead the lives they choose, including help with daily living activities and community access.
The role requires a full UK manual driving licence and offers a 37.5-hour work week. Alternate weekend shifts are included, and full training is provided to support individuals in their home and community.
Qualifications
- Full UK manual driving licence is essential.
- Previous care experience welcome but not required; full training provided.
- Commitment to person-centred practice and FitzRoy values.
- Willingness to work a range of shifts, including alternate weekends.
Responsibilities
- Provide personal support, including personal care and hygiene in line with individual plans.
- Assist with cooking, shopping and household tasks.
- Administer medication in line with policies and individual plans.
- Support access to healthcare and informed health decisions.
- Respond to medical concerns or emergencies and report appropriately.
- Promote independence by enabling access to leisure, social and community activities.
