A community care provider in Bristol is seeking an experienced female Community Support Worker to provide outreach support for individuals with learning disabilities. This role promotes independence and well-being through tailored support at home and in the community. Ideal candidates will have experience in this field, a caring approach, and a full driving licence. Competitive pay of £12.80 – £13.50 per hour is offered along with flexible working hours and additional benefits.

About the role:

We are looking for an experienced female Community Support Worker to provide outreach support in BS39 to our client who has learning disabilities and challenging behaviours. The role focuses on promoting independence, well being, and inclusion through person centred support at home and in the community.

Key responsibilities:
  • Provide tailored support to individuals in their own homes and in the community
  • Accompany and support clients to access activities, appointments, and social opportunities in the community
  • Encourage independence and positive outcomes
  • Manage challenging behaviours with professionalism and empathy
Requirements:
  • Experience supporting people with learning disabilities and challenging behaviours
  • Female only due to client requirements
  • A full driving licence and business insurance
  • A caring, reliable, and flexible approach
