A leading mental health service provider in Wokingham is seeking a Community Support Worker to join their Adult Mental Health Service Team. The role involves supporting adults with mental health difficulties, providing information, and managing a caseload. The ideal candidate has experience in community working and a good understanding of mental health needs. We're looking for a Community Support Worker to join our Adult Mental Health Service Team in Wokingham. We offer a 9-5 service to adults with enduring mental health difficulties.
This is a varied, front-line role in a compassionate and forward-thinking team where you'll:
The successful candidate will have experience of supporting adults with mental health problems, including dementia. This role is community based and therefore the successful candidate must hold a valid UK driving licence and have access to a car for work purposes, including carrying patients and carers as passengers. You will be a team player, be highly motivated, compassionate and demonstrate a good understanding for working with adults with mental health needs. Appropriate training and support will be provided as needed.
The post holder will be well supported and guided by the Clinical Team Lead and Mental Health Practitioners within the Community Mental Health Team. They will have their own allocated caseload and support the delivery of excellent care to our CMHT caseload.
This post is 30 hrs a week over 4 days – days to be agreed.
