Community Stroke Occupational Therapist - Hull
Band 6 Occupational Therapist – Community Stroke Service

Location: Hull & East Riding
Contract: Temporary

Our client is seeking an experienced Band 6 Occupational Therapist to join their Community Stroke Service covering Hull and East Riding. This role involves providing specialist occupational therapy interventions to patients recovering from stroke in the community, supporting rehabilitation and promoting independence.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver high-quality occupational therapy interventions for stroke patients in a community setting.
  • Complete functional assessments and develop individualized rehabilitation plans.
  • Support discharge planning and liaise with the multidisciplinary team.
  • Promote independence and optimize patient outcomes through evidence-based practice.
Requirements:
  • Degree and Postgraduate qualification in Occupational Therapy.
  • HCPC registration as an Occupational Therapist.
  • Community-based stroke experience (3 years preferable but not essential).
  • Knowledge of SystmOne (desirable but not essential).
  • Car driver with own vehicle and business insurance (essential for covering Hull and East Riding).
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
