A healthcare provider in the UK is seeking registered Paediatric nurses to join their Specialist School Nursing Team in Romford. The role involves supporting children aged 3–19 years with complex healthcare needs, working collaboratively with education and healthcare professionals. Due to additional funding, there is an opportunity to expand the Special school and complex needs nursing team in Redbridge. We are looking for registered Paediatric nurses who will work as a member of the Specialist School Nursing Team, supporting a defined caseload of children and young people aged 3–19 years with complex healthcare needs and disabilities within the community and school settings. You will assess, manage, plan and deliver care, being professionally and legally accountable.
The post holder will work in schools with children with a range of learning disabilities and complex health needs, in partnership with other professionals and agencies to meet identified care needs. The nursing team establishes and maintains effective communication, working closely with parents and carers, education and other agencies to help children achieve their full potential in school.

NELFT places significant importance on properly welcoming and inducting new starters. All new starters join the Trust on the first Monday of each month and undertake a comprehensive induction of up to two weeks, including mandatory and systems training and equipment allocation. Induction is held at our head office in Rainham, Essex.

This post attracts a High-Cost Area Supplement of 15% of the basic salary (minimum £4,714 and maximum £5,941) pro rata for part-time staff.
