Max Emerald Ltd in Colchester is seeking an experienced agency Social Worker to support vulnerable adults to live healthily and independently. You will assess needs, develop plans, and work within statutory frameworks while collaborating with partners and the voluntary sector.

Role requires degree-level Social Work registration, CPD, and ability to travel across a wider area in Essex. Newly qualified social workers will not be considered.

Formación

• Qualified social worker with current Social Work England registration.
• Evidence of CPD and ability to work within professional standards.
• Experience in social care with challenging family and community situations.
• Strong communication and rapport-building skills with diverse groups.

• Assess complex social care needs and support vulnerable adults to live healthily and independently.
• Develop support plans and secure commitment to solutions for individual needs.
• Work within statutory frameworks and determine when intervention is required.
• Collaborate with partners, voluntary sector to gain community support.
• Conduct assessments and plan responses, including interventions as needed.
• Foster early intervention and prevention to increase independence.
• Influence planning and decision-making across multi-disciplinary partners.
• Support families and communities to age well in line with council aims.
