JustOT are recruiting for an HCPC registered experienced Occupational Therapist to work with our well‑respected client based in Conwy.

Location: Conwy

Rate: GBP26.22 per hour

Contract Type: Temporary

Essential Requirements
  • HCPC registered
  • 3 years Social Services Experience

Working Hours: Part time 23 hours per week; the assignment is for 23 HPW between Monday‑Friday, with the expectation to work in the office (Coed Pella, Colwyn Bay) and from home once initial training has been given.

We currently have a short‑term vacancy for an Occupational Therapist to work in our Disabilities Early Intervention & Prevention Services.

The EIP Team provides short and outcome focused intervention for individuals and families to build resilience and to better manage their daily lives and circumstances.

Responsibilities
  • Deliver a direct Occupational Therapy service to people with disabilities.
  • Work with parents/carers/families to provide support and develop resilience.
  • Complete screening assessments and make initial recommendations for an appropriate response to need.
  • Where necessary carry out safeguarding activity.
  • Ensure people with disabilities and their parents/carers/families are at the centre of decision making about their lives and the outcomes they want to achieve.
Skills and qualifications required
  • Registered with Health Care Professional Council.
  • Team work & interpersonal skills.
  • Manual Handling training and experience.
