About the Role
MAKE is looking for an authentic, social and Community Manager who truly understands the creator world. You might be a creator yourself or someone who’s been actively managing online communities and social media professionally for the past few years.
This role is about building trust, fostering community, and showing up authentically in the spaces that matter most to creators. We’re looking for someone who lives and breathes socials, someone who knows what makes a post take off, and how to build a real following and engagement.
You’ll be the voice and presence of MAKE across platforms like Reddit, Instagram, TikTok, and X, engaging in real conversations, sharing useful content, and helping creators discover a better way to manage banking.
What You’ll Do
Community Building
- Be active in subreddits and threads where creators are discussing challenges in banking, or running their business. Respond, support, and join the conversation naturally.
- Create and manage MAKE’s own Reddit community, including posting, moderation, and engagement.
- Develop programs like AMAs, Q&As, or community challenges that make people want to participate and feel part of something.
Social Media Ownership
- Set up, launch, and grow MAKE’s organic social channels on Instagram, TikTok, and X.
- Create content yourself: short videos, behind-the-scenes moments, community stories, or relatable posts that resonate with creators
- Be comfortable appearing on camera and/or attending creator events to represent MAKE authentically to create content like interviews,event recaps, or spontaneous clips.
- Work with our designer and content manager to ensure visuals and tone feel consistent and genuine.
- Develop and maintain a social media content calendar to ensure timely and consistent content delivery.
Influencer & Creator Collaboration
- Identify and collaborate with creators and influencers who genuinely align with MAKE’s mission.
- Build long-term relationships with trusted voices who can share their experiences and advocate for MAKE in an authentic way.
- Support and amplify creators within the community, not as ads, but as peers sharing what works for them.
Analytics & Insights
- Track performance across channels: engagement, conversation trends, and sentiment.
- Share insights with the team on what’s resonating, what creators are talking about, and what we can learn from it.
- Use data to experiment and continuously improve how we show up on social media and in communities.

- Have deep expertise running and growing social channels (even your own).
- Enjoy using insights and data to understand what’s working and why.
Experience & Background
We’re open to a range of experiences. You might have:
- Built or managed your own creator page, or grown Reddit / online communities.
- Run social channels for a creator, brand, or platform.
- Deep familiarity with creator communities and how to connect authentically.
- Solid grasp of social media metrics, analytics, and best practices.
- Hands-on experience with content creation including design, video, or editing.
- Great written and spoken English communication skills.
- Experience in influencer marketing or managing brand ambassadors.
- Comfortable using tools like Hootsuite, Buffer, or Sprout Social.
