Sussex Partnership NHS Foundation Trust in the UK is recruiting a Speech and Language Therapist at Band 6, with a pathway to Band 5 for newly-qualified candidates. The post is 3 days per week (0.6 WTE) and offers preceptorship and training.

The role focuses on learning disability services, dysphagia management, and working within a multidisciplinary community team. Support for professional development and close supervision is provided, with opportunities to progress.

Competenze

• Qualified Speech and Language Therapist with HCPC registration.
• HCPC registration to practise as SLT in the UK.
• RCSLT membership or eligibility.
• Post‑basic dysphagia qualification or equivalent experience.
• Desirable: Makaton tutor registration.

Mansioni

• Join a dynamic SLT team and contribute to NICE-based clinical pathways.
• Support developments in working practice with supervision and peer input.
• Provide supervision and CPD opportunities within the team.
• Travel between locations in a predominantly rural community setting.

Formazione

Recognised Speech and Language Therapy Degree or Masters qualification or equivalent

Health Professions Council - licence to practice

Registered member of Royal College of Speech and Language Therapists

Evidence of completion of specialist short courses related to learning disabilities

Post-basic qualification in dysphagia
