Qualifications

  • Full registration with the NMC or HCPC as a Nurse or Paramedic.
  • Significant experience in palliative care at Band 6 or above.

Job description

A respected South London charity is seeking a compassionate and experienced Community Services Manager to lead its specialist palliative care service.

You’ll oversee a dedicated team providing exceptional support to patients and families in their own homes, ensuring the highest standards of care and collaboration across local health services.

As the Community Services Manager, you will maintain clinical competence and support staff in delivering excellent patient-centred care.

The role is approximately 80% management / 20% clinical.

Person specification
  • (Essential) BSc Adult Nursing or BSc Paramedic Science
  • (Essential) Full registration with the NMC or HCPC as a Nurse or Paramedic
  • (Essential) Significant experience working in palliative care, ideally within the community, at Band 6 or above
  • (Essential) Experience in a management role
  • (Desirable) Non-Medical prescribing
  • (Desirable) Management/leadership qualification
