Job Title: Community Services Manager

Location: Poringland, Norfolk (with travel as required)

Salary: £45,000 - £50,000

Contract Type: Permanent

Working Pattern: Full Time (37.5 hours) Monday to Friday between 08:00 – 18:00

The successful candidate will be required to be flexible to accommodate the needs of the role, including evenings, weekends, and on-call as required.

About You

As our Community Services Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring that our community services are delivered to the highest quality, ensuring that they meet regulatory requirements.

You will lead a team of Community Care Managers, Night On-call Manager, and a Care Co-Ordinator to ensure that we deliver rapid, high-quality care to children and young people in urgent, and often, complex situations.

You will also act as a Designated Safeguarding Lead (DSL) and ensure that safeguarding is at the core of all decisions made.

Requirements
  • Level 5 in Children and Young People’s Residential Management (Essential)
  • At least 5 years of experience in working within Children’s Social Care, or similar regulated environments, with experience of managing a team
  • Significant and demonstratable experience in car planning and risk assessments for multiple children, and young people, with varying challenging behaviours
  • Experience as either a DSL or Deputy DSL, ideally with a Level 3 qualification in DSL
  • Experience liaising with local authorities and commissioners and the wider Multi-Disciplinary Team (MDT)
