A community interest company in Burnley is seeking a Community Services Administrator to provide comprehensive administrative assistance across various clinical services. Advocatingfor the service to enhance engagement and uptake and organising referrals to the services
Providethe first point of contact for patients and family members seeking support orinformation.
Ensuringthat daily administrative tasks are appropriately allocated and monitored.

EastLancashire Alliance (ELA) is a not-for-profit community interest companyproviding services to our GP practice members and offering a portfolio ofpatient services. All our clinical services are led by clinical leads who workas part of a team with Federation managers.
Weare a network of nine PCNs which consist of 48 GP practices covering apopulation of over 390,000 patients across East Lancashire. JobPurpose
TheCommunity Services Administrator will provide comprehensive administrativesupport across community clinical services including Parkinsons, ACPPS andDiabetes.
MAIN DUTIESAND RESPONSIBILITIES
Increasing visibility and understanding of the service among patients,families, and partner organisations
Advocatingfor the service to enhance engagement and uptake and organising referrals to the services
Providethe first point of contact for patients and family members seeking support orinformation.
Ensuringthat daily administrative tasks are appropriately allocated and monitored.
Liaisingwith GP practices and external partners, including coordinating appointmentinformation, responding to queries, resolving administrative issues, andensuring effective communication pathways are maintained.
Ensuringall clinical correspondence are completed and forwarded to the relevantpractices in a timely manner.
Organisingalternative staff cover in the event of sickness or absence;
Undertakingadditional ad hoc duties as required to support service needs.
Ensuringadherence to all relevant protocols, procedures, and governance requirements inrelation to administrative and operational tasks.
Managingconfidential information appropriately, maintaining discretion, and upholdingprofessional and ethical standards at all times.
Undertakingduties as assigned by the Operational Support Officer/ Operations Manager tocontribute to effective service delivery.
Providinggeneral administrative and operational support across a range of functionswithin the service.
Planning,organising, and prioritising workload effectively to meet service expectations.
Monitoringadministrative performance in line with service targets and identifying areasfor improvement where appropriate.
Takingaccountability for administrative staff on shift, ensuring tasks are completedto the required standard.
Carryingout any additional duties as directed by the Operational Support Officer orOperations Manager.
Organising and attending Patient Support Group sessions / Workshops
Training & Development
Fully participate in training and development, meeting any, and all,requirements of any courses funded, or part-funded by the Alliance.
Engagein a programme of ongoing support and feedback to maximise the benefit of thetraining and development plan.
