Job description

This dynamic, hybrid role involves enforcing community protection laws, primarily focusing on anti-social behaviour, environmental crime, and statutory nuisance. You will spend 3 days a week patrolling (7 hours daily walking requirement), with the remaining time managing caseloads remotely or on-site.

Job Overview
  • Proactively patrol and investigate community protection issues, including environmental crime and licensing enforcement.
  • Manage caseload documentation and follow-up investigations, with flexibility for remote work.
  • Work a rotating 37-hour week shift pattern (e.g., 8am-4pm or 9am-5pm), including Saturdays part of the rota.
Qualifications
  • Enforcement Background: Proven experience in ASB, environmental crime, or statutory nuisance enforcement.
  • Education: GCSE or equivalent in Maths and English.
  • Conflict Resolution: Strong face-to-face working experience in conflict resolution.
  • IT & Communication: Excellent written communication and IT literate.
  • Mobility: Full driving licence, use of own vehicle, and ability to patrol/walk for 7 hours a day.
