Overview

A Crisis Clinician will work within the Universal Crisis Team (UCT) in North Cumbria, providing 24/7 services at Carelton Clinic in Carlisle and Lillyhall in Workington. The role supports individuals with a range of mental health needs, offering alternatives to hospital admission.

Responsibilities

The post holder will triage referrals, complete holistic assessments, manage risk, deliver therapeutic interventions, coordinate shift schedules, and liaise with multidisciplinary teams. They will work under the crisis model and pathway to provide home‑based care.

Qualifications
  • Full‑time or part‑time availability at Carelton Clinic, Carlisle, or Lillyhall, Workington.
  • Experience working with diverse mental health needs.
  • Demonstrated clinical experience in risk assessment and complex care.
  • Sound skills in triage, assessment, formulation, risk management, and therapeutic interventions.
