A healthcare organization in Carlisle is seeking a Crisis Clinician to provide mental health support and manage risk in crisis situations. You'll triage referrals, conduct assessments, and work closely with multidisciplinary teams. The role offers both full-time and part-time availability. Ideal candidates will have experience with diverse mental health needs and a background in risk assessment and complex care.
A Crisis Clinician will work within the Universal Crisis Team (UCT) in North Cumbria, providing 24/7 services at Carelton Clinic in Carlisle and Lillyhall in Workington. The role supports individuals with a range of mental health needs, offering alternatives to hospital admission.
The post holder will triage referrals, complete holistic assessments, manage risk, deliver therapeutic interventions, coordinate shift schedules, and liaise with multidisciplinary teams. They will work under the crisis model and pathway to provide home‑based care.
