Job summary

NHS Dumfries and Galloway invites applications for a Podiatrist to join our community-based podiatry team serving the rural Annandale and Eskdale area. You will deliver a range of podiatric interventions and collaborate with AHPs, nursing teams and community partners to optimise patient care.

Newly qualified podiatrists will be supported through the Flying Start NHS programme with dedicated development time, supervision and learning opportunities.

Qualifications

• Newly qualified podiatrists will be supported through the Flying Start NHS programme.

Responsibilities

• Plan, manage and deliver a broad range of podiatric interventions across preventive, palliative and corrective care.
• Work across the multidisciplinary network to deliver excellent clinical outcomes and contribute to treatment planning.
• Provide ongoing supervision to Podiatry Healthcare Support Workers.
• Travel between community bases as required.
