A leading healthcare provider in Cornwall is seeking a Community Physiotherapist for the Penwith area. You'll develop care plans, assist with rehabilitation goals, and work within a supportive multidisciplinary team. The ideal candidate has a degree in Physiotherapy, community experience, and strong communication skills. This role involves flexibility for weekend shifts and working in diverse locations. A structured training program is offered to enhance clinical skills.

The Community Rehabilitation and Homefirst teams are part of the Penwith Integrated Community Team. The teams comprise of registered and non‑registered nursing, therapy and administrative staff, working collaboratively with partner organisations within the neighbourhood to support the intermediate and rehabilitation needs of our local population.
This position is open to physiotherapists with community experience who wish to develop assessment, care planning, reablement and rehabilitation skills whilst being part of a dynamic, research‑active, progressive, integrated, multi‑agency team.
You’ll be responsible for assessment, planning and implementation of care, and assist in the interpretation of information relevant to the patient's condition/progress, identify problems and needs and set realistic rehabilitation goals. You need excellent organisational skills along with a wide knowledge base and experience of working in older person’s services.
We offer a well supported working environment in which to develop your clinical and interpersonal skills, a structured in‑service training programme; appraisal and supervision system.
This post covers the Penwith area which spans from Hayle to Marazion and all areas to the west.
The service covers a 7‑day rota which involves some weekend and bank holiday working: the successful candidate must be flexible with their working days. We cover 8am‑6pm.
