Job summary

McKeevers Chemists in Fivemiletown is seeking a friendly Dispensary Assistant to join our community pharmacy team. You will assist in dispensing medications, filing prescriptions, and preparing labels using IT systems.

We value excellent communication, attention to detail, and a can-do attitude. Saturday work is possible depending on the branch rota. Training opportunities include a Level 2 Dispensing Qualification; we offer a pension, staff discount, and free uniforms.

Responsibilities

• Assist in dispensing medications with precision and care, filing prescriptions, and preparing labels using IT systems.
• Provide excellent customer service and inform customers about health products, OTC medicines, and services offered by the pharmacy.
• Handle telephone enquiries and refer complex queries to the pharmacist when needed.
• Collaborate with pharmacists to ensure a smooth workflow and maintain an orderly dispensary.
• Assist with stock control, ordering, rotation of goods, and till handling.
