Job summary

Weldricks Pharmacy is seeking a Pharmacy Assistant to support day-to-day branch operations and deliver excellent customer service in our community pharmacy. You will be one of the first contacts for customers, assisting with OTC purchases and supporting dispensing under supervision.

No prior pharmacy experience is required as full training will be provided, including the potential to gain an NVQ Level 2 Pharmacy Services qualification.

Responsibilities

• Deliver outstanding customer service to customers and patients.
• Assist customers with over-the-counter purchases and direct them to the right healthcare professional.
• Support dispensing of prescriptions under supervision of qualified staff.
• Handle prescription collections and queries professionally and confidentially.
• Process deliveries and maintain stock levels across the branch.
• Keep shelves and displays well stocked and compliant with company standards.
• Promote pharmacy services and healthcare initiatives to customers.
• Maintain accurate records and complete administrative tasks as required.
• Follow company procedures and pharmacy regulations for a safe working environment.
• Collaborate with colleagues to ensure efficient day-to-day running of the branch.
