Job summary

Lloyd's Register International seeks a Peer Support Lead to work in Cheshire & Merseyside, engaging people to access healthcare and breaking down barriers through outreach and support.

You will lead a team of lived-experience volunteers, run workshops on hepatitis C, HIV, and liver health, and contribute to vital harm reduction work, including finger-prick tests, with full training and ongoing support.

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver outreach to engage people who need support and help them access healthcare.
• Collaborate with partners in hostels, drug services, and the NHS.
• Run training and workshops about hepatitis C, HIV, and liver health.
• Perform finger-prick blood tests as part of outreach.
• Lead and inspire a team of lived-experience volunteers.
• Carry out harm reduction activities including needle and syringe provision.
