Where you'll be working

Join a dynamic and supportive team at the forefront of mental health innovation. You’ll be part of a new initiative delivered in partnership with HNELHD, HNECCPHN, and the Ministry of Health. This newly established role offers a unique opportunity to shape a project from the ground up, working alongside mental health leaders from the Suicide Prevention and System Improvement team and the Community Partnerships team.

What you'll be doing
  • Providing clinical input and guidance to ensure project initiatives are evidence-based and effective.
  • Engaging with stakeholders and community partners to build strong, collaborative relationships.
  • Contributing to innovative solutions for challenges that arise in the rollout of a new service/project.
  • Participating in ongoing learning opportunities related to project planning, community engagement, and stakeholder management.
About you

You are a motivated and adaptable mental health professional who thrives in new environments. You are comfortable navigating the challenges and opportunities of launching a brand-new project or service. You have excellent communication skills and can engage effectively with a wide range of people and organisations. Creativity, problem-solving, and a proactive approach are key attributes for success in this position. This role involves some travel, allowing you to engage directly with community partners and stakeholders across the region.

Requirements
  • Must hold a qualification in Occupational Therapy, Psychology, Clinical Psychology, Social Work, or Counsellor (Bachelor of Health Science Mental Health, Djirruwang Program) and be eligible or registered through AHPRA.
  • Eligibility to drive in NSW and willingness to travel for work purposes which may involve driving long distances.
