Overview

Young Elite Management is a sports management and mentoring company, registered as a Community Interest Company, that offers sports management and mentoring services (initially focused on football, with plans to extend to other sports in the longer term). These services include identifying young, talented players from underrepresented communities and areas, offering opportunities to train through recommended coaching services, and ensuring they receive effective mentoring and guidance to remain focused. The overall company slogan and aim are ‘combining talent with guidance and opportunity’ as well as ‘Providing effective mentoring for sport enhancement’.

Responsibilities
  • Maintain a calendar of outreach activities, including community events, workshops, appearances, and other communication opportunities.
  • Ability to pay attention to detail and manage multiple projects at one time.
  • Ability to be flexible and adapt to changing needs and time pressures.
  • Ability to disseminate information clearly and concisely.
  • Ability to communicate professionally and build relationships with co-workers, volunteers, customers, donors, and vendors.
  • Ability to create and sustain positive working relationships at all levels of the agency, internal and external.
  • Proven relationship-building skills to support collaboration and partnership activities.
  • Ability to track, analyse, and adjust programs and processes as necessary.
  • Support the Line Manager with scheduling all departmental activities.
  • Schedule regular outreach exhibitions in the community and educate employees on community responsibility.
Requirements / Qualifications
  • Knowledge in marketing, journalism, public relations, social services, or related fields.
  • Experience in the field may be advantageous.
  • Strong industry knowledge.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.
  • Strong organizational and management skills.
  • Experience with institutional databases, public access sites, and primary research skills.
  • Good reporting, technical, and statistical skills.
  • Willing to work unsociable hours.
  • Able to represent our project within community environments.
