The team consists of district & community nurses, assistant practitioners, generic workers, occupational therapists, physiotherapists, and social care workers. The team is led by a Nursing Clinical Lead, integrated with a Therapy Clinical Lead and overall managed by an INT manager. You will be required to work across the North West INT and the wider community services to meet service requirements.
The team is proud of its holistic approach to care and continues to evolve to support developments in the NHS, including close working relationships with local statutory, non‑statutory and voluntary services.
We offer a variety of training opportunities to up‑skill and maintain your clinical skills. The team provides support through in‑service training, professional forums, mandatory training, 1:1 and personal development meetings, and clinical rolling skills training via practice development facilitators. We facilitate student training and have close working relationships with neighbouring community teams in health and social care.
Equality, Diversity and Inclusion (EDI) is at the heart of all we do and forms part of the ESNEFT's core activities. The Trust operates and relies on everyone treating each other with dignity and respect to receive equitable and fair treatment in the implementation of policies, procedures and its practices, to foster positive work relationships, and to act with integrity as a professional within ESNEFT as well as a representative of the NHS as a whole. The EDI Agenda reflects the Trust values such as Optimistic, Appreciative and Kind. In line with the NHS Long Term Plan, People Plan, People Promise and a Model Employer intrinsic in the Equality, Diversity and Inclusion Agenda, we consistently strive to improve and to take the learning into action for a better ESNEFT.
We pride ourselves on supporting our staff by offering a wide range of training and development opportunities, as well as flexible working options.
