Job description

The post holder will be a Registered Nurse with experience of working in the NHS. Community experience is desirable but not essential. The post holder will be responsible for patients allocated to them and will assess, manage, plan and deliver care. The post holder will support their peers and senior nursing staff and be an effective team member whilst working on their own initiative. They will supervise pre‑registration students and band 4 nursing assistants/assistant practitioners. They will have a commitment to collaborative working and actively supporting and liaising with other health and social professionals and agencies. The role will require you to be computer literate as all patient records are now electronic.

Role Summary

We are seeking a motivated and dynamic full time Band 5 Community Nurse to work within the Integrated Care team in Basildon and Wickford.

Compensation

This post also attracts payment for High Cost Area Supplement of 5 % of the basic salary (with a minimum of £1,303 to a maximum of £2,198 p.a. pro rata for part time).
