Medacs Healthcare is recruiting for a PIP Functional Assessor / Disability Assessor in Redcar. You will perform PIP functional assessments, analyse medical evidence, and produce detailed reports in a hybrid role combining home and assessment centre work.

The post requires an NMC or HCPC registration, UK clinical experience, and strong written/verbal communication. Structured hours, training, and progression are offered.

Qualifications

• Registered Nurse (RGN, RMN, RNLD), Physiotherapist, Paramedic or Occupational Therapist.
• Active NMC or HCPC registration with no restrictions.
• Minimum 1 year's UK clinical experience.
• Experience in functional assessment or advisory roles.
• Right to work in the UK (sponsorship not available).
• Confident in producing high-quality written clinical reports.

Responsibilities

• Face and telephone PIP assessments in a professional and empathetic manner.

registered Paramedic, Physiotherapist or Occupational Therapist ready for a change from frontline clinical work, but keen to continue using your expertise?

As a PIP Functional Assessor / Disability Assessor at Medacs Healthcare, you'll complete Personal Independence Payment (PIP) functional assessments to understand how health conditions affect everyday life. This is a non‑

on clinical role centred on clinical reasoning, analysis and report writing.

The hybrid working model combines home working with time at one of our assessment centres, offering predictable hours, long‑

term stability and a healthier work-life balance.

What you'll do

What we're looking for
