A regional healthcare organization in England is looking for a Band 5 Community Nurse to join their South Bedfordshire Primary Home Care Team. This full-time role involves facilitating self-care for patients with long-term conditions and participating in health promotion activities. Candidates should have a Band 5 nursing qualification and a current driving license. The position is fixed-term for 12 months, offering development opportunities in community nursing.

We are seeking motivated, dynamic, and passionate Band 5 Community Nurses to work within our South Bedfordshire Primary Home Care Team, covering Leighton Buzzard, with an expectation that staff will cover across the bases if needed.
This is an excellent opportunity to develop your knowledge and skills within the community nursing setting. You will have the opportunity to be involved in facilitating self‑care for patients with long‑term conditions, health promotion and innovative activities and projects that enhance patient service delivery and staff wellbeing. You will also be involved in Urgent Response and Virtual Wards, a focus of our teams.
You will be required to work a shift pattern covering 7 days a week from 08:00 – 21:00.
This is a full‑time fixed‑term post for 12 months, until September 2026.
