Qualifications

  • Post-registration experience of working with adults with mental health needs.
  • Experience of managing staff and good leadership skills.
  • Sound knowledge of the Mental Health Act.

Responsibilities

  • Provide high standard of clinical care in one's own practice and the team's practice.
  • Lead on the step-up, step-down approach, engaging with Primary Care.
  • Manage case-load and service delivery in accordance with Service/Trust productivity requirements.

Skills

Highly developed clinical reasoning skills
Negotiation skills for conflict resolution
IT skills - email, word processing, excel
Self-motivated with excellent personal management skills

Education

Degree in mental health and social care or equivalent
Evidence of specialised continued professional training in clinical practice
