A leading mental health service provider in Maidstone is seeking experienced Community Psychiatric Nurses and Occupational Therapists to enhance mental health services. Please note, at this stage, the role is open only to internal staff (including NHSP and Agency staff currently on placement within our organisation) and staff substantively employed within Kent and Medway NHS Trusts and the Kent and Medway Integrated Care Board (ICB). Any individual who is at risk of redundancy will be given priority, provided they meet the essential criteria.

An exciting opportunity has arisen for enthusiastic Band 6 Community Psychiatric Nurses and an Occupational Therapist to contribute to the development of mental health services. The post is suitable for registered Nurses and Occupational Therapists, with at least 2 years post qualification experience.
You will need to have demonstrated skills and expertise in carrying out a variety of assessments and be able to plan and execute interventions, with individuals, their carers and groups. You will need to be clinically confident and competent in working with individuals in a community setting and be able to work effectively in a multi‑professional context. You should have collaborative and enthusiastic styles, as well as have a passion and commitment to develop and promote mental health services.
