Do you have a track record of providing high quality care? Are you a credible clinician looking for your next opportunity? West Norfolk locality is recruiting a Community Matron for a fixed term (or secondment) of 12 months, to cover maternity leave. Secondments will also be considered. The position will be to support the adult community services. This includes West CMHT, ADHD service across Norfolk; OpCourage and the Veterans Integrated Service.

The post holder will work closely with the operational manager and have overall responsibility for the clinical and financial management functions of their designated services. This will involve ensuring effective and efficient clinical, quality and safety performance working alongside the operational associate director and holding joint responsibility for financial management; the delivery of evidence-based patient care and these services are safe. In conjunction with the lead clinician, the Community Matron will provide clear, visible leadership, strategic vision, and good clinical knowledge and experience in the specialism.

As Matron, you will work closely with the locality leadership team to ensure that high quality care is delivered within your services and will provide professional leadership to the nursing workforce.

You will promote a culture of learning and openness and ensure clinical staff have the knowledge, capability, systems and support to deliver evidence based care and embed lessons learned in practice for the improvement of patient experience.
