Job summary

Cardiff and Vale University Health Board is recruiting a vaccinational nurse to deliver the School Age Immunisation Programme across Merton, Sutton and Wandsworth, with travel to schools and community sites.

The role requires RN registration (Adult or Children) with NMC, GCSEs including English and maths, and experience in primary or community care with children. You will follow safety protocols, receive induction and training, and work term-time with flexible arrangements.

Qualifications

• NMC-registered nurse (Adult or Child) or RMHN/RM to practice immunisation.
• GCSEs grade 4/C or above, including English and maths.
• Experience in primary or community care with children; IT skills (Windows apps).

Responsibilities

• Deliver vaccinations in schools, community venues and homes.
• Plan and deliver immunisation sessions in schools and community settings.
• Promote vaccine uptake with evidence-based information to parents and carers.
