Job summary

St Elizabeth's Centre in Much Hadham, Hertfordshire, is seeking a Community Hub Lead Instructor for a 6-month secondment. The role focuses on day-to-day running of the Community Hub, delivering person-centred activities and ensuring wellbeing and safety of attendees.

You will lead and supervise colleagues, plan engaging activities, support medication safety, and work with families and professionals to achieve the best outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Session Planning and Delivery: Plan, coordinate and lead engaging, person-centred activities tailored to individual needs, interests and abilities.
• Staff Leadership and Supervision: Provide day-to-day leadership, guidance and support to colleagues, promoting teamwork, development and high standards of care.
• Medication and Wellbeing: Support safe medication practices, ensuring individual care plans and organisational procedures are followed, and administer medication where appropriately trained and assessed as competent.
• Quality and Outcomes: Monitor participation, evaluate activities and maintain accurate records of individual progress and achievements.
• Health, Safety and Safeguarding: Promote a safe and supportive environment, ensuring appropriate risk assessments, safeguarding practices and organisational procedures are followed.
• Working Together: Build positive relationships with colleagues, families and other professionals to ensure the best possible outcomes for those we support.
